Carduelis carduelis

Incredible, I've seen many pictures of birds before, but this really caught my eye. I can respect how you probably spent a lot of time waiting for this moment, as the Goldfinch's, so I've heard, are quite hard to capture. The detail and the colors of the birds wings really are something, as well as the face of the bird. The yellows, the blacks and the shiny red. The composition of the bird is well captured too, the wings in full extent and the feet ready to land on the plant. The browns of the plant and the browns in the background are good as they really show off the foreground of the bird. Top marks for this, well done!
