Gulls are typically medium to large birds, usually grey or white, often with black markings on the head or wings. Most gulls, particularly Larus species, are ground nesting carnivores, which will take live food or scavenge opportunistically. Live food often includes crabs and small fish. Usually I say that gulls are not very interesting subject to shoot - especially with the common blue sky, in the morning and in a diagonal position - but in this case I've found something that really focused my attention on this picture, making this one a masterpieces between a lot of birds' pictures: a usually quiet bird that try to make the same "facial expression" of an eagle! It's usual to see seagulls in the classic pose in front of the sea, maybe looking for food, but here *Richard-XX managed to capture this incredible moment, with the open mouth and the "seeking eyes", like only a master of photographt can do!
Wish you all the best!
